July News!

Lots of cool stuff is going on in the garden this week.

Here's the list:

1.) Tyler of the SAMI greenhouse planted 20 plus tomato plants for a secret program that is in its infancy. Get ready to start seeing exponentially larger amounts of tomatoes going up all over the garden

2.) Luciano of the Northwest Leadership Foundation summer gardening program for kids at the Hilltop garden dropped buy to  see the space and make plans for the upcoming visits with kids. So excited to make

3.) Many gardeners out in the garden tending their plots! Great weather and great growth

4.) Lots of donations to the Family Renewal Shelter including 4 full grocery bags of peas that will go to healthy snacks for kids

5.) New faucet key lock box on the way as well as plans for drip system in the works.

SO GREAT AT THE GARDEN THIS WEEK! YES!

Summer News

Just a short update:

The new sun has brought some great growing in the last couple weeks. Lots of peas and beans and broccoli and lettuce, tomatoes bouncing back.

We had a wave of vandalism right after school got out but it has let off and a new fence is being installed as we speak!

6 pounds of food was donated to the Family Renewal Shelter today and the lawn got mowed (big big big chore for Mr. Iverson)

Sorry there haven't been more pictures and hopefully all the readers will stick it out till the end of the summer!
