Although we didn't take any pictures today (camera battery was out of juice), we removed the nails and staple from all the donated cedar real estate posts in preparation for building our compost bins.
We will be using a Lincoln Log type design that will provide space and mobility to our new compost bins.
We are also hoping to get some spinach, radishes, lettuce, beats and a few other vegetable up before the first frost. We planted 3 beds so far and have some pretty nifty ideas for some cold beds and poly-tubes as we attempt to grow our first winter crop.
Some students also cut up some cucumpber for cucumber salad on Wednesday.
