Homeworking, Anti Vandalisming, Composting, Dirt Moving Awesome Kids

Today we again broke up into homework make up squad and working outside crew. Inside people got caught up on missing work from other classes and some people worked on outside jobs. We are still dealing with littering, vandalism, and general immature stupidity. BUT we will press on because one day we will have a beautiful garden full of awesome people and growing plants and food that we share with each other as we learn how to be cool garden masters!
Yay someone stole the top of our compost!!!!! Can you smell the Sarcasm

What kind of a sick person vandalizes a donated raspberry plant growing in a handi-cap garden?

Talon and Spencer slaving away to finish our second compost bin

Herrera and Patrick getting Tagro Potting Soil Mix to fill up beds that have sunken over the last year

  1. Hello everyone,

This is my third try to send comments to you so hopefully it will work this time. :)
It was nice to visit the classroom and garden again this Friday and seeing some of you working hard! Christina and I really enjoyed talking with Jeremiah about nature and its little creatures, and Christina seeing quite a few friendly faces from the Wapato water project. I know the vandalism incident was unfortunate, but keep up the good work! It will pay off next season for sure. We are excited to help implement the worm bins and bring seed starts next spring. I am hoping some students will be able to help in the garden with the busy harvest in the summer months. I am sure any time will be greatly appreciated! :) Christina and I will try to visit on Wednesdays and Fridays as much as possible. We hope all of you have a great next week and Thanksgiving! And a nice long weekend! Yeah!
